Cubeware appoints Taha Malik as new managing director

• Taha Malik succeeds Peter Küssner, who has been leading Cubeware so far
• The importance of the investments made in Cubeware and its employees is reaffirmed
• Product development and Cubeware Lab to be further advanced

Kolbermoor, 14. February 2020 - Taha Malik is now Managing Director of the German Business Intelligence pioneer Cubeware. With this appointment, Cubeware's owner, the family-run India Builders Corporation (IBC), underscores its long-term commitment to the IT provider. Taha Malik is part of the fifth generation of the owner family and will manage Cubeware from Kolbermoor/Rosenheim with immediate effect. His goal is to continue the realignment of Cubeware. This includes targeted investments in product development and the Cubeware Laboratory (C-Lab) for Data Science and AI.

Right at the top of Malik's agenda is the further development of the Cubeware Solutions Platform, the modernization of which was successfully launched last year with Cubeware Cockpit 10. On the other hand, new sales markets are to be opened up in direct business. Cubeware has already been represented in more than 137 countries through its channel business for several years. In the next few months, the company plans to strengthen its direct business outside of DACH. First and foremost, the Nordic countries are to be addressed. For both initiatives, both financial and personnel investments will be made.

Experienced management team, new development opportunities

As part of the reorientation of Cubeware that has already been initiated, the company will continue to evaluate business processes, modernize its product range and create an innovation-friendly climate. Malik will rely on the existing and experienced Cubeware management. Peter Küssner, who headed Cubeware so far, has left the company at his own request. "On behalf of the entire owner family, I would like to thank Peter Küssner for his successful work at the helm of Cubeware. I look forward to continuing to work with the existing management team and our employees. All of them together have played a major role in ensuring that Cubeware is well positioned for the future," said Malik.
