In 2008, PHOENIX Dichtungstechnik was split off of the Continental Group as the result of a management buy-out. With 300 employees and annual sales of 72 million euro, the company operates in the areas of elastomer profiles and roof waterproofing. The production sites and offices are located in Hamburg and Waltershausen with sales offices in England, Belgium, France and the Netherlands. With respect to the manufacturing of its high-quality special products, the newly created company draws on the decades of experience of its predecessor Phoenix AG and Contitech AG. With respect to the internal structures, however, PHOENIX Dichtungstechnik planned to re-establish itself with a modern organisation and an ultra-modern IT landscape.
